The cottage has absolutely stunning views, is very clean, comfortable and homely, only a short distance from the beach. Ideal for a family or romantic week away.
You can lie in bed and listen to the sea gently lapping against the shore, so relaxing.
Claire really doesn't do it justice in her description.
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

If you want a flawless, state-of-the-art holiday home then this probably isn’t for you. But what the cottage is, is utterly charming, beautifully located and more than adequate for enjoying what west Wales has to offer. Claire is a great host and her description of the cottage is spot on. Hence the great price.

This is an old cottage but very functional.  We ate in every night and the kitchen had everything we needed.  Stunning views and really peaceful, a short walk to town with a few shops, beautiful beach right opposite the shops and free toilet facilities.   Everybody was so friendly, we had a superb week.  Don’t let the economy electric put you off, we had plenty of electric on the meter and had plenty when we left too.  Thank you Claire for a lovely stay in your family cottage.

This is my third stay at Claire’s lovely cottage and it never fails to please. The location is perfect and the cottage has such character and was, as always, clean and tidy. Claire is a great host, very welcoming and always on hand if you need anything. There have been a few upgrades since last year, one being WiFi which was a welcome addition.
Many thanks, Claire. I’ll be back!

Cottage in stunning location looking down the Dyfu estuary with the harbour and Ynyslas in view. Loved eating breakfast on the patio looking down the estuary. Real period cottage, comfortable with all the amenities needed for a home from home. Asked a few questions before we travelled - Claire was super helpful and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. Will be back!

Have just had an amazing few days here , the views from the cottage are stunning. Read Claire’s description carefully as she fully explain the cottage , in our opinion she underestimates how beautiful this cottage is. If you want a fully refurbished modern holiday home this is not it , however if you want to stay in an amazing 170 year old cottage full of character and charm with amazing views and enough facilities for an amazing stay then this is more than perfect. Claire is a great host full of information and very helpful

A gorgeous, characterful cottage in an unbeatable spot – right on the estuary, with stunning views and a hidden path down to what is essentially a private beach area. The cottage is full of charm, very twee, with very comfy beds and everything you need for a longer stay. The terrace was perfect for a drink while relaxing and looking over the water. Incredible value – in fact, frankly, too cheap given the location, space, and views. It's just a minute’s walk to a fantastic coastal pub with wonderful views and great food, and plenty more restaurants nearby. The train station is also just a short walk away. Claire was a brilliant host – friendly, full of great recommendations, and always on hand. The listing is modest, underplayed, and honestly, doesn’t capture how special the cottage and its location are. Ignore any bad reviews – this is a unique and cosy cottage with charm, not a dull, sterile hotel room. We absolutely loved it and will be back. Thank you for a perfect break!
