*Great value basic accommodation with hotel-style amenities in a fantastic location. 

*Free parking in Penhelig Car Park 170m away,  can stop outside to unload (at own risk, 20mph rd)

*Mix of old & modern furniture, has cosmetic defects, dated decor, is not perfect and shiny.

 *Breakfast only £2.50 per person, please pre-book.

* Laundry, babysitting, amenities. Bed linen supplied. £10 per towel per rental/ bring your own.

 *Full kitchen. Comfy beds. Entertainment - TV, DVDs, music, games, books, kids activities. 

*Lounge & Dining Room/ Games room /Study.  Guided walks, craft activities offered.

*Good mobile signal. 4g/5g WiFi. Electric radiators for heating. Can't use fireplaces or smoke. 

*There are some notes up e.g. dogs must stay in the kitchen, shower instructions.

*Historic cottage has vintage decor. It's unrenovated. It's frequently cleaned & there's an air purifier but it may be unsuitable for severe asthmatics. 

*Ensure ALL your group sees photos/description BEFORE booking so no-one imagines something different.

House rules

-Guests accept it's basic accommodation with cosmetic defects.
- Must pay for minimum stay & tell host if leaving early.

- Must report breakages immediately, e.g. fridge trays.
- Pets ONLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. Stay in kitchen, use back door. We may pop by!

-£100 minimum fee if pee, poo, fur, paw prints/mess left.

- Must leave £145 parking permit on mantelpiece on departure or pay for a new one
- ENERGY FAIR USE: plenty for most people, easily add extra -contact host or use card. Oct-Mar =8 kwh per day 1-2 people. 9 kwh pd 3 people. 10 kwh pd 4-5 people. Apr-Sep = 6 kwh pd 2 people, 7 kwh pd 3 people. 8 kwh pd 4-5 people. kwh=30p.

- House is by 20mph road, no footpath. Supervise kids. No host liability.

-No smoking, candles or use of blocked fireplaces.
- Do not scratch your names on the wall by cottage, CCTV, fine £200+.
- 4g/5g Wifi -usually great but not guaranteed. Normally good mobile signal.
-Can't use more beds than number of guests booked. CCTV outside. Extra admin charge for unauthorised guests. 

- Say Giraffe on booking form so host knows you read & agreed to everything
- CHECKOUT: Leave cottage in same condition as arrival for no cleaning charge & to keep prices low. Strip beds, return parking permit, clean all your mess, remove garbage, vacuum.
